I personally haven’t lived downtown, but I know a lot of people who have.

A common complaint is the lack of a grocery store down there. So why is it so hard to open one?

Apparently, there haven't been enough people living downtown to really attract or justify a good option, but that could change soon.

A big driver is the growth of living spaces that have opened over the last decade including ReNew Wichita, 225 Sycamore, River Visa, Colorado Derby and The Lux.
